With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Sura Nahl (16)

Verses 98-100. “when you read the Qur’an, seek Allah’s protection from Satan the rejected one. No authority has he over those who believe and put their trust in their Lord. His authority is over those only, who take him as patron who join partners with Allah.”

A few important principles are laid down. 1. Seek Allah’s protection when reading the Quran. Shaytaan aims to take us away or distract us from the Qur’an,  so always beware. 2. Shaytaan is actually weak – he only has power over those who take him as a friend.   For those who are sincere servants of Allah,  Satan has no power over such people.
3. Those who fall prey to Shaytaan’s influences are those who attribute power, greatness  etc to anyone other than Allah (SWT).

Continues tomorrow Insha Allah….Salaams/Peace
