With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Sura Nahl (16)

Verses 125-126. “Invite (all) to the way of your Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for your Lord knows best, who has strayed from His path, and who receive guidance. And if you do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out: but if you show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those are patient.”

This set of verses brings us to the end of this Sura and instructs us to firstly invite people to Islam and to do so with wisdom and beautiful preaching.   What this requires of us is that when spreading Allah’s word we ought to ensure that we do not insult or belittle others but rather to show them the beauty and practicality of Islam. Furthermore when we debate with them we are to do so in the most appropriate manner, through constructive discussion or debate, ensuring respect and dignity is maintained.

Tomorrow we commence Sura 17 inshallah ….Salaams/Peace
