Surah Al Kahf (18) 08/10/2015

With the name of Allah, most Kind, most Merciful

Sura 18 (Al Kahf)

Allah SWT Alone is Worthy of Worship

18:52 One Day He will say, “Call on those whom ye thought to be My partners,” and they will call on them, but they will not listen to them; and We shall make for them a place of common perdition.

A few cross references

17:56 Say: “Call on those – besides Him – whom ye fancy: they have neither the power to remove your troubles from you nor to change them.”
17:57 Those whom they call upon do desire (for themselves) means of access to their Lord, – even those who are nearest: they hope for His Mercy and fear His Wrath: for the Wrath of thy Lord is something to take heed of.
39:3  Is it not to Allah that sincere devotion is due? But those who take for protectors other than Allah (say): “We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah.” Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.
7:194  Verily those whom ye call upon besides Allah are servants like unto you: Call upon them, and let them listen to your prayer, if ye are (indeed) truthful!

We should make a clear distinction between Allah SWT Who is the Creator of everything that exists and Human beings who are created.Allah alone is worthy of service and devotion . He alone, has the Authority To make rules and regulations which are all contained in His Final Revelation,Al Quran.
He does not share His Authority with anyone.

 Continues tomorrow
 Salaams/Peace
