With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sura 28 (Qasas)
The favours of Allah SWT are infinite
28:71 Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the night perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you enlightenment? Will ye not then hearken?
28:72 Say: See ye? If Allah were to make the day perpetual over you to the Day of Judgment, what god is there other than Allah, who can give you a night in which ye can rest? Will ye not then see?
28:73 It is out of His Mercy that He has made for you Night and Day,- that ye may rest therein, and that ye may seek of his Grace;- and in order that ye may be grateful.
The above verses give us a glimpse of Allah’s gifts and favors to us. We read in Sura 14 verse 34: “And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of Allah, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude.”
What is even more remarkable is that these favors continue even when we disobey His laws – that in itself should be enough to motivate us to serve Allah SWT by serving His creation and making an earnest effort to understand His Book Of Guidance (Al Quran).
