With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sura 31 (Luqman)
Verse 20 “Do ye not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth, and has made His bounties flow to you in exceeding measure, (both) seen and unseen? Yet there are among men those who dispute about Allah, without knowledge and without guidance, and without a Book to enlighten them!”
Verse 21 “When they are told to follow the (Revelation) that Allah has sent down, they say: “Nay, we shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following)”. What! even if it is Satan beckoning them to the penalty of the (Blazing) fire?”
Allah SWT has blessed us with abundant resources, intellect and a Book of Guidance. Yet people are not satisfied with the Glorious Book of Allah and instead we tend at times to blindly follow previous generations.
By ignoring the teachings of the Quran we are rejecting the mercy and blessings of Allah SWT hence we see the dire state of Muslims today.
Let us not be of those who prefer blind following instead of seeking guidance through Allah’s word, Al Quran.
