With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Sura 37 (Saad)

Allah SWT is Most merciful  but also strict in enforcing His Punishment

Verse 28  Shall We treat those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, the same as those who do mischief on earth? Shall We treat those who guard against evil, the same as those who turn aside from the right?

Cross references
39:24 “Is, then, one who has to fear the brunt of the Penalty on the Day of Judgment (and receive it) on his face, (like one guarded therefrom)? It will be said to the wrong-doers: “Taste ye (the fruits of) what ye earned!”
39:70 “And to every soul will be paid in full (the fruit) of its Deeds; and (Allah) knoweth best all that they do.”

Without doubt Allah SWT is most merciful and forgiving – however HE is also very strict in enforcing His punishment on those who violate and disobey His commands. We generally have a misconception that mere belief will guarantee us Jannah. However the above verses make it clear that jannah is earned through serving Allah SWT.  There are many verses that bear testimony to the fact that Allah SWT is most just and will take everything into account.

99 :7 Then shall anyone who has done an atom´s weight of good, see it!
99:8 And anyone who has done an atom´s weight of evil, shall see it.

Continues tomorrow…
