Sura Muhammad (47) 25/07/2016

With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Sura 47 (Muhammad)

Success as a result of commitment

Verse 7-8

“O ye who believe! If ye will aid (the cause of) Allah, He will aid you, and plant your feet firmly . But those who reject (Allah),- for them is destruction, and (Allah) will render their deeds astray (from their mark). ”

Every society seeks stability and security be it political, economic and or otherwise. The Quran guarantees such a condition but requires us to reciprocate to Allah SWT by ensuring that we render our “support to Him”. This is an expression used in the Quran to denote being devoted to Allah SWT. As a result Allah SWT will cause that our society becomes stable and secure. As for those who don’t observe Allah’s laws and live against it, they will become insecure, unstable and will self destruct. Their achievements will be short lived.

A beautiful parable on this can be found in Sura 14:24-27
