With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sura 47 (Muhammad)
The reward for being righteous
“Verily Allah will admit those who believe and do righteous deeds, to Gardens beneath which rivers flow; while those who reject Allah will enjoy (this world) and eat as cattle eat; and the Fire will be their abode.”
The success of the believers will not only be in this life but will continue into the next. Whilst observing Allah’s commandments they will establish peace and security in this world and their efforts in doing so will be rewarded in the afterlife. The reward of Jannah is than explained to the believers in verse 15 in ways they can grasp, via parables.
“(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear. …”
As for the rejecters Allah SWT informs us that they will continue their lives short sighted, like cattle. They cannot perceive the reality of the hereafter and their lives will basically end in this world. In the hereafter they will be met with torture and punishment.
Continues tomorrow…Insha Allah
