With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Sura 47 (Muhammad)

Justice should not be compromised

Verse 35
“Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost: for Allah is with you, and will never put you in loss for your (good) deeds”

Believers are required to consistently work to abide by Allah’s commandments. In doing so they may meet with hostile opposition who will attempt to coerce them into wavering their positions. Here Allah SWT forewarns us of this and instructs us that we should not be faint hearted but rather that we should be uppermost, meaning that we should have an unwavering commitment to His cause without deviating from justice and that we should stand tall to our values and be proud thereof. If we maintain this position Allah SWT will ensure that our deeds do not go wasted.
