With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Sura 66 (Tahrim)
Islam teaches us not only to be concerned about oneself
“O YOU who have attained to faith! Ward off from yourselves and those who are close to you that fire (of the hereafter) whose fuel is human beings and stones: (lording) over it are angelic powers awesome (and) severe, who do not disobey God in whatever He has commanded them, but (always) do what they are bidden to do.”
This verse tells us that a person’s responsibility is not confined to making an effort to save himself from the punishment of God. It is also his responsibility to educate and train to the best of his ability, members of his family and those close to him to be on the right path. As a result the righteous family members will be in each other’s company in the hereafter.
Cross reference Surah 13 verse 23
“Gardens of perpetual bliss: they shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring: and angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation)”
