Surah Mulk (67) 13/11/2016

With the name of Allah, Most Gracious Most Merciful

Sura Mulk (67)

The Authority of Allah

67:1 Blessed be He in Whose hands is dominion; and He over all things Has Power;-

This verse refers to the Power of Allah(swt). Tabaraka is a superlative form of the word barakah, which implies greatness, abundance and plentifulness. When the superlative is used it gives the meaning that Allah(swt) is infinitely noble and great. Mulk implies the Sovereignty of Allah over everything that exists in the universe.  To manifest our recognition of Allah’s authority, we have to remain committed to the Divine Laws.

Continues tomorrow InshaAllah

Salaam / Peace
