With the name of Allah Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
Verse106: And most of them believe not in Allah without associating (other as partners) with Him!
This verse warns us that many among mankind do not worship Allah without ruining their beliefs with some form of shirk. Sura Yusuf clearly demonstrates to us that Allah is the knower of the unseen and only He knows the unfolding of our life. However, in the trials of life we may ascribe some event to luck, or to our own cleverness, or to look up to someone as the cause of our fortunes such as a ruler or a saint or we may allow our intentions to become distorted or our ego may get in the way. All these are forms of shirk and defiles the purity of our worship. May Allah perfect our worship from all forms of shirk.
